We seek a motivated and innovative candidate with a Master's degree to do his PhD thesis in the Lab “Mechanisms of growth control and cancer”, within the Individuality and Aging Program (SP6) of the Instituto de Neurociencias de Alicante. We are looking for a candidate with breakthrough ideas, ambition, and willingness to join a multidisciplinary group to advance a basic research project on individuality and resilience to stress and cancer, using population genetics, NGS, behavior, and AI. Experience in Drosophila, genetics, or computing, Python and programming is a plus.
